Jennifer
Founder & Director
Jenny is a journalist by trade and her passion lies in fitness and writing. Jenny founded BeLifted in 2017 and is a qualified fitness instructor and a trained pre and post natal fitness trainer (Level 3). Also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Level 1 & 2, safeguarding of women and children, economic abuse and business.

Benjamin
Director & Trustee
Ben is an ex amateur boxer who has competed in national and international competitions. He has also worked in the city for some of the largest banks and companies for over 15 years. A member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI), Ben also has an accreditation with CISI in finance. Ben now runs his own non profit organisation, where he helps young people achieve their dreams and aspire for more. Ben is one of our directors and trustees.

Tanya
Freelance fitness instructor and empowerment coach
Tanya is a Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer based in London. Tanya works primarily with women to help them feel more embodied, empowered and energised through mindful movement.
Training strong, Tanya ensures a multifaceted approach is integrated into her physical and emotional health and wellbeing exercises.
Using breathwork is an important part of this. Tanya encourages you to explore and strengthen the connection between breath and movement, as it is a truly powerful practice. Tanya practices a holistic approach and believes it is essential for a more balanced and healthier lifestyle, but most importantly she believes that movement should be fun! Nicola
Domestic violence trainer and coach
Nicola is a domestic violence trainer, who is also a victim-survivor. Having lived experienced, Nicola shares her story with others in the hope it will not only encourage but also save a life. Nicola wants other women to understand and recognize different types of abuse. Nicola is disabled but has used her experience with her condition to change the lives of others. Nicola is BeLifted domestic violence coach and hopes to inspire and help other women who were in a similar position to her. A mother, Nicola has two beautiful children Charlotte 25 and Kain 20 and has lived in Barnet her whole life. She also has experience as a beautician and cake maker and used to run a weekend cafe in Barnet college. Nicola has also worked at St Mary's primary nursery in Finchley and has nursery nurse experience. Nicola's interests include domestic violence, women and children.

Fanta
Trustee & Debt Management Advisor
Fanta, who is originally from Sierra Leone, is in the third year of her law degree and has majored in human rights law. Fanta has volunteered with numerous organisations such as New Citizens Gateway formally - Barnet Refugee Service, Rainbow Money Advice Barnet and Advice4Renters in Brent. Fanta has Universal Credit Training by CPAG and is also a certified Advisor by Community Money Advice with a Level 3 certificate and also a member of the Institute of Money Advisers. Her passions include helping others.

Natalie
Director & Trustee
Natalie was brought up in NW London and now resides in Barnet with her teenage daughter. She has A-Levels in both Media Studies and English and is currently studying for her CIM Professional Marketing Qualification, she has training in Autism, GDPR and is currently the Communications and Marketing Officer for a charity that provides services for people with Autism and Disabilities in East London. She is passionate about sports, girls in sport and spent three months in Ghana coaching football. She also enjoys painting, photography and watching Arsenal in her spare time. Natalie is keen on volunteering; she wants to help young girls and women succeed and feels passionately about supporting survivors of domestic violence.

Jo
English Teacher & Literacy Coach
Jo has been working as a 121 tutor and SEN support for the last 10 years. She has worked with students of all ages, ranging from early years to those sitting their GCSEs and A Levels. She is really excited to be joining the Be Lifted Team.

Bev
Trustee, personal trainer
and mentor
Bev is a former journalist and now a PR/communications specialist. For many years Bev has nurtured and mentored teams to brilliance, encouraging them to believe and achieve.
Her passion is fitness and mental wellbeing and for her the two go hand in hand- healthy body, healthy mind. Bev's mantra is 'listen to your body.'
As a qualified personal trainer, one of her 'go-tos' is working out when she needs to solve a problem.
Bev believes exercise should be fun and creates high energy routines for her young niece and nephew which she is looking forward to sharing with BeLifted.
Bev is over the moon to be part of the team and use her skills to make a difference and give back.
